In The Year 1623 I Created My Newest Invention

I just came home from an exhausting day of LEARNING. I wanted to entertain everybody so I invented, and invisible lolly, it has the most flavour then anything else in the world.  

So I just went to the shop just next door to my house. I drove over to the shop and bought some invisible strawberry, banana, chocolate, blueberry and raspberry. Then I went back to my room and started to invent. I named it "The Anonymous Taste". It was great I had everything planned out. Until my big brother came. He stole all of my lolly wrappers, he just destroyed everything. But it was okay because when we had to go to sleep I snuck into his room and stole some of his stuff. I stole his stuff so that if he didn't give my stuff back I won't give his stuff back.

The next morning I woke up, he ran into my room and yelled " where are my favorite pair of Jeans. I said sarcastically " I don't know" :D. He sad he'll give my lolly wrappers back if I give his jeans back.
We both shook on it and gave our stuff back hand to hand. 

Then I went back to inventing. I tried to feel where I put the lollies, I felt ikt and then I put into the wrapper. I put it in then I unwrapped it so I could be the first one to eat it. And that was the century I became a INVENTOR and a BAKER.

Stress all round

Every Christmas we have this big feast. And like I think everyone is with me on this one, "Christmas is not Christmas without food". Well this one Christmas I had to put COOKIES!!! out for Santa. I actually snuck in and ate all of them : D. The next morning I woke up and there was no presents. I was acting very depressed so I went to go do a prank on my mum to make me feel better. I grabbed a bucket and filled it with water. I creped up into her room and then soaked her. Then I went to go do it to my brother I was slightly tipping it on his face and whispering " Your drowning, Your drowning". He woke and tried to beat me up, It was hilarious. But it still didn't make me feel better. So I went to go and eat xD.


About an hour that I went to go look at the lounge to see if the presents were miss placed. It took me about an hour just to look around the whole lounge. That was the point I was getting frustrated. I thought to myself why didn't I get any presents for CHRISTMAS, and I was thinking doesn't everyone get presents from Santa. Then it was lunch time that is probably my favourite part of any day. Me my Mum My dad and Brother, were sitting and eating in peace until I asked my mum " why didn't I get any presents? Well it isn't Christmas yet. Turns out there was a week to go till Christmas. I started laughing and I could\not stop : D.

                                                     

Netbook Reflection 2012

It has been an awesome year. We are in term 4 with about 1 more week of school left. Every second to last week before the term finishes we have to take our, Netbook, our netbook bag and our charger to see if they're in good condition. Then they come back so we can take them home over the christmas holidays. It has been a challenge throughout this year to try be responsible, to take care of my Netbook.

Being cybersmart is very very easy, all it means is that you have to be smart on any piece of tech. I like to be creative with my netbook especially with my writing. I think that our netbooks help us with solving problems, because if we're not really sure what the answer is then we can just use the internet :D. Also we need our netbooks to take charge of why we have them. If we don't know anything, we don’t have to bother a student or a teacher, we can just search it up on the internet.

My dream improvement is, Making our netbooks faster to turn on. I also want the internet to be a lot faster. I have actually noticed that the hinges are very weak so that means they can break easily. Also it would be very cool if the class would be able to share up to 2-3 Ipads so that means we won’t need that many Imacs. It would make our creating more portable!

Overall this year I think it has been great working with our netbooks and it was really fun. I’d like to say thank- you to Mr and Mrs Burt for making all of this possible. Next Year I would like to improve on my writing and maths but I know i’ll get better because we have our netbooks.

CAMP!!

The best day of my life

Hello my name is WARF I live in the sea, the thing I hate about my job is always getting budged and pushed around by boats but today it was something different...

A little boy I think his name was Isaiah was in a group getting ready to do their activity at Kawau island. I saw them talking about all of the rules. Then they had to chose their sailing boats. All of them had to push their boats into the water and then hop in them and then sail off. Well Isaiah was the odd one out another girl went to go chose the green boat but then he wanted to be mean so he ran to it instead. So she went to the blue boat. Lucky for her that she did chose that boat.

Off they went out to sea NEK MINUTE Isaiah didn’t put the tiller to the sail so he ended up crashing into me. It hurt so much that I put all of my force into that boat that he was set free. That wasn’t my whole plan he was actually supposed to fall in the water. But I finally stood up for myself :). I saw a hole group of people just sail out to the sea. And that was the best day of my life.

Aliens every where

BRRRRRRRRRR. As the bell rings all of the students of Point England school run out of the school gates I think why does everybody think school is so boring. I got home and it was dead silent. I thought it was weird so I went hunting for my parents and brother. I heard a coughing noise so I tippy toed following the sound I got closer and closer to the road. I saw something in the sky, a U.F.O!!! I realized it was still silent I ran back inside. And before you know it My parents were there acting like nothing has ever happened. I thought that it was really awkward because they were just staring at the TV. I walked in front of them and there face were alien faces.


Oh My Gosh. I looked at them in shock, then ran for my life. Help , Help ,Help. Where is everybody I thought to myself. I saw a shadow on the wall it was leaning and it was walking really slow. So I followed the shadow. I stopped and stared at it and it turned out to be my mum that had just woken up in the middle of the night. Hahaha Then I went back to sleep.

My Holiday

One time I remember that me and my family went on a holiday. I forgot where we were going. We were driving then it came to a huge hill, when we were going up I saw some tanks in the bushes. I thought that it was pretty weird but I didn’t care. Once we got up the hill, I saw 2 souljahs. First they were acting cool they jogged down the hill. There was a little bump on the road, I thought they saw it but then they both tripped and both of there legs flew up.


After me and my mum finished laughing we were going to ask if they needed help. But they both  had guns. We drove off. We got to our lodge and it was right next to a water hole, with a cliff. I went inside and then got changed into my togs. I asked my mum if we could go. Then she said yes. We walked over, that was the first time I had ever been to a water hole. My mum told me to swim over to the cliff. When I got there there, there was a rope attached to the side of the hill. I grabbed onto that and climbed up. As soon as I got up I saw a drop I was so scared but then I got over my fear and jumped. I thought I would hit the ground but I didn't it was cool as.

The Most Awesome Cartoon

Ever since I was little I have only Loved 1 cartoon, SESAME STREET. And my favourite character was cookie monster. You know what I don't mean to be dream crushing but I can see black string attached to the hands.

But I love the way those cookies look when cookie monster picks them up they look so yum. But I don't really like Elmo his voice is so annoying. And when its the end of elmo's world he sings the same tune but a different song.

What A Miracle

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, The bells finally rang. I got home and done the most amazing thing ever sleep. I stayed asleep till the next day, then my brother wanted to go to the park. So I got then got changed and took him to the park.

When we came back my cousin Neihana was there he went to go play on the trampoline and about 10 minutes later I went out to him crying. He told me his arm was sore so I lifted his sleeve up and his arm was literately bent. So I took a deep breath and went to go tell my mum. After she gave me a huge growling  we had to go to the doctors, they told us to go to the other doctors for an x-ray, then they told us to go to the hospital. You may think that doesn't sound like much. But what a day it was. And, guess how long we had to wait at the hospital,6 hours. 

TENNIS!!!

TENNIS

Tennis is an olympic event played with a racket and a small ball. Competitors have to play on the court with a net in the middle. Tennis was invented in europe and in the year 1873.

If would like to have a go at tennis you will need shorts, t-shirt and if you want you can also wear a sweatband or a hat. Winning a gold medal may look easy on T.V but when it get’s to the real game its hard. You need to hit the ball to each other and try not to get it out. Who gets the highest score gets the GOLD MEDAL.

What does this say?

Technology

Some children say that they would be lost with out TV, phones, computers and stuff but really there being  "Dramatic". I can admit that my Net-book is the only thing that I play on, people even talk to it. Which I  think is really weird. Either way people think they wouldn't be alive with out Technology.

My Dad always used to say he invented Technology, and when I was little I used to believe him. Obviously I don't now. One day I was about 3 years old. I asked my dad to make me a computer, he was pretending not to listen but then he was brave enough to turn around and talk to me, then I asked him again. He went into the garage.......... He came back with a cardboard box with a keyboard drawn on it and a mouse drawn too. Then I ran to my mum crying. That was the day I never believed him ever again.

I'm pretty sure every body reading this right now would be on their computer or Laptop and writing a comment. But here's a challenge for you, try go with out Technology for 2 WEEKS. And if you have completed your challenge, I'll give you a fake Gold Medal.

My Holidays

On the first week of school it was my brother's 15th birthday. So to celebrate we went to Denny's. I'm pretty sure you want to know what I ordered, I ordered Millennium burger, Fish and Chips, 3 cheese burgers and for dessert Oreo Thick Shake, Banana split, Hot Fudge Cake and a deep fried banana with a deep fried Moro bar. Obviously I didn't eat it all to myself. And I know that I you thought that I was a pig.  I was starting to pack up and start getting ready to go until my mum told me there was a surprise birthday cake. Then I slowly walked to the table and sat back down. Asking everybody if they wanted my cake I saw a bin. But then I thought why would I waste that much chocolate. So I managed to eat that all.

About ten minutes after that we started giving out presents. He opened the first envelope that was from my aunty there was 200  dollars in it and four movie tickets. The next one was from me, I gave him 100 dollars and a card, and the last one was from my mum and dad they they gave him 150 dollars. That's the point we started getting ready to go.

Olympics

Today we had an Immersion assembly. An Immersion assembly is when all of your school gets together and explains what your topic is about. Our topic for this term is, Go For Gold.

Team 1 was First it was a video about Ms.George meeting famous people in their houses. The first person she met was a famous high jumping New Zealander. hen she went to visit another famous person. He was runner and he represented New Zealand.

Then came team 2 Their one was another movie. It was about the three Keys to being perfect. First Key: Practice. Second key: Practice. Third Key: Practice. And that makes perfect.

I'm actually going to skip team three because no offence it was pretty boring. So lets just skip to team 4. This act I liked the most. Because none of them had talent. Boriss was next and he was telling the whole world that he spearfishes, he said he's been practicing for the past week. Next was Olga she was going to try out for swimming but the only problem was she didn't know how to swim. "Iv'e been practicing how to swim in my bath and I can't wait to start swimming in some water above my head". Barbie, barbie barbie barbie. Barbie has spent most of her life swimming in the sea as a mermaid. One day barbie went to go sit on a rock out in the open. She met a guy a guy met her. And then they fell in love, until he left her so she regretted leaving her graceful swimming. Then there was shattered dreams. One day he was riding on his scooter and he tripped over and his right hand landed on the road and one one the footpath. When he goes swimming and he uses his right hand to swim he goes to the left side. And that just ruins it all. At the end they all acted together at sincrinised swimming .

Horror brushed against my leg

Something brushed up against my foot and my surprise turned to horror as I looked down and saw a huge scary Snake. I screamed like the world was ending and at the same time I was thinking that there couldn’t be any snakes in New Zealand but I kept screaming. When it started slithering up onto the couch, we were practically playing tag. It kept on following me everywhere I went so it was getting a bit boring screaming so I stopped. So I ran outside and quickly shut the door but when I turned around it was behind me.

I couldn’t open the door because it was locked, so I checked if there were any windows open. There was! When I got there I realized that I couldn’t jump through a window. That didn’t really help. So I quickly sprinted over the snake and for some reason it got fatter and longer than before. And that’s when I started panicking. Do you know how people say that snakes don’t have eyelids well that means they can’t blink and you can’t tell when their sleeping. And that was my problem was it sleeping or does it just like staring. Anyway I went up to it and started waving to its eyes at the time I did not know what I was gonna do if I got gobbled by this huge monster but I tried anyway.

I quickly turned because I saw a shadow and it was the snake's tail creeping up on me. I tried to run but then I tripped over the tail. At that moment I thought I was going to be the snake’s lunch. But no it just slithered away.

“Whew” I said.

Then the snake actually turned around. That was the point I got furious. And then it started coming towards me and then I screamed then it hissed at me. Then I thought of eating it before it ate me, I even thought I sounded like a crazy person. Then I just blacked out. I woke up the next day in my bed. I figured out that is was dream. And I was gutted. I told my little brother all about it.

He said “ I know how to sleep with my eyes open now”.

It had been such a relief to wake up and discover it all had been a bad dream.

Chocolate

Have ever dreamt of just chocolate. Well I always do, because I'm a chocoholic. Yes I admit I usually stuff my face with chocolate. I started drinking chocolate when I was about 3 weeks old. Chocolate milk. And I know someone who loves chocolate even more than me Ashlee, my bestie.

Once I had a dream that me and my family went to a swimming pool and it was made out of chocolate, I was practicably swimming and eating swimming and eating at the same time. It was so delicious I didn't think it was actually a dream until my brother woke me up and I was so angry at him. But then  I eventually I fell asleep. Even though it was a different dream but it was still about chocolate.

Aussie Rules

Every Wednesday Room 17 and 16 go to have relaxing time. Wait a minute Aussie  Rules isn't relaxing its hard core. The first week we went our mentors introduced their selves "Hi my name Sam everybody calls me sandwich. And my name Anita. Okay lets get started with the drop Punt. Its sort of like drop kick. But you kick with your hand.

" Come on guys get a partner". Me and Jonita were buddies. We started kicking the ball instead. She kicked it far as.   Then we got told off by Anita. Finally Sandwich blew the whistle and as soon as you blinked everybody was holding their hands up. Then we swapped around. We got told to stand on the baseline.

We got a ball for each team all of the teachers that were there had to stand on the other side of the court and we had to either try kick the ball at them or throw it and they weren't allowed to move, but Mr S did. I didn't hit any of them. Jonita did. After a while I was getting angry.

After that we had to add up all of our points and guess how many we got. Two. Seriously Two, anyways the bell went a while after that. Then I figured out that I forgot my shoes, so I quickly ran back as fast as I could because it started raining. And when I there they were soaked.

    

My Christmas Holidays

For my Family X-mas holiday we went to Thames. On Christmas I was so exited to go to Thames, lucky we weren’t camping. One of my aunties live there so that’s lucky for me. As soon as we got there I saw all of my cousin’s my Nana and my Grandad, aunties and uncles, then we shot off to a waterhole. My auntie Wah lead the way because we didn’t know where we were going.

All of us started to park up, and all you could see was a steep hill and of course we had to climb down it. It was about a 30 second walk. But when we got there it was sooo pretty, there was a big cliff , a humongous waterfall. As soon as I touched the water I knew it was going to be freezing. So I got the craziest idea to just jump in, and I did. I started to swim over to the other side to the cliff, it looked pretty big from when you were close up. Just on the left you could see a rope to get up to the top, I got up then I peeked by the edge and I almost slipped. First my cousin Jasmine jumped and then her sister then my uncle. It took about 15 minutes to convince me that it doesn’t hurt. But I jumped. I was screaming on the way down but I faced my fear.

After about 25 times of jumping off the cliff I wanted to see how deep it was, and it never ended.But then I got up to the top.Then we all got out and started going back to my auntie’s house. We had to wake up real early and then go home. When we got home me and my brother saw a humongous tramp. That night we started putting our tree down it took about an hour, because there was movie on and I kept on stopping to watch it.

But that was my Christmas and I hoped you liked it.
