Cyclone Lusi

What is a cyclone you ask? Well, a Cyclone is a bunch of gale force winds rotating in a circular motion, towards lower grounds.

Tropical Cyclone Olivia is the highest wind force on record is 408km/h. Cyclones are deadly, it can crush, destroy, shatter and end anything in seconds.

Cyclone Lusi is slowly moving across New Zealand. Auckland has been advised to store anything away, that may contribute to the damage. Cyclone Lusi is now heading towards Wellington, with Gusts of winds going 130km/h.

This past weekend, there was a storm. It was expected to be a “Cyclone”, but it was just heavy rain, and gusts of wind. This Tropical Cyclone left snapped tree’s, smashed cars, damaged houses, wrecked buildings. etc.

How to prepare? You have to pin down anything, that's light and sharp. Trim down branches so they won’t fly around. Have a first aid kit near in-case any injuries occur. Move anything indoors, that may harm your environment. Also, stay informed with weather changes, it could change very quickly.
