Martin Luther King. Jnr

Elbow to elbow, I was trying to get my way through the bunched up crowd. As I was squeezing my little sisters hand,  the crystal like water was reflecting off Martin Luther’s face. Instead of trying to find my parents, I took my sister for a walk to the museum.
Walking up the stairs, staring at the giant pillars I walked past the statue of Abraham Lincoln, I settled myself on a step to watch Martin Luther attempted to legalise black & white equality.

My Fist Maths DLO ^-^

Q. A large department store has 4 boxes of socks. There are 121 pairs of socks in every box. How many pairs of socks do they have to sell?

A. 484. Because.....
4 x 100 = 400
4 x 20 = 80
Which equals, 480. (Keep that in your head)

4 x 1 = 4 + 480 = 484

The Bombing Of The Rainbow Warrior

It was the year 1985, as suspicion started seeping throughout Marsden Wharf.  One mysterious night 2 french spies set off on a “zodiac” boat. Meanwhile there was a big birthday party being held on the Rainbow Warrior. As the Greenpeace crew were partying on the  surface, the two french spies were stealthily attaching 2 limpet bombs beneath the boat.

*Boom!! the first bomb sent the captain off his chair!  “Abandon ship! Abandon ship!” as the Greenpeace photographer, Fernando Pereira refused to moved, 4 minutes later the second bomb went off! Fernando devastatingly died after the accident. Ashes blowing into the freezing water, ship tilting & people fighting for their lives.

The 2 french spies were sentenced to 10 years in prison. After being imprisoned for 2 years the french government was threatening NZ that they would “boycott” NZ’s meat and dairy products.etc. This would cost us 100’s of 1000’s of dollars unless we gave the spies back. NZ agreed to give them back, so they could go and be prisoners in France. When arriving back to France they were imprisoned for 2 more years then they were discharged.
